Creative Media Production: Level 2 (Photography)
Course Outline
This course is perfect if you want an introduction to creative and technical aspects of creative media production, specialising in photography, plus the knowledge and understanding to progress to further education and employment within the creative industries.
The course is one year in duration with two groups of around 20 students per group based at the new city college campus The Hub.
You’ll learn a range of creative media methods and skills, including:

Production techniques in photography creative media

Understanding an audience in photography creative media production

Contextual research for photography creative media production

Audio and interactive media production and technology

Developing a personal project linked to the final major project that incorporates presentation skills in creative media production
You can expect to study a practical work-related course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. It will introduce you to your chosen career and provide a good basis to progress onto a more advanced qualification.
You will be based at our City Hub campus for this course, we have open days throughout the year for students to come and view our facilities here as well as learn more about the courses themselves.
