Course Outline
This course is perfect if you’re looking for a career in graphic design and/or animation within the digital design industry.
You’ll learn the skills needed to design digital media products, such as:

Graphic design & branding (Adobe illustrator)

Digital illustration & concept art (Adobe Photoshop / graphics tablets)
-
2D Animation and motion graphics (Adobe Animate / After effects)

On my course we try to make pretty things, be it illustration, animation or design. In year 1 you try a bit of everything but quickly get to choose your direction, with flexible briefs that allow you to explore and refine your own visual practice.

It is equivalent to 3 A-levels and you can leave after 1 year with half of a full qualification. Many of our students go on to higher education in animation, games art, graphic design or related courses.
You will be based at our City Hub campus for this course, we have open days throughout the year for students to come and view our facilities here as well as learn more about the courses themselves.
