Will is proud to be a Nottingham College (New College Nottingham) Graduate. He studied with us at our Clarendon Campus from 2005 – 2007 and achieved a Higher National Diploma in Technical Theatre with Distinction.

 

Will has been our resident Theatre Technician since 2008, being the college specialist in lighting design and operation and stage management, he has been known to do sound design and operation, AV, set design and building and costume design and construction. He has been trained to make shirts (but I wouldn’t ask him to fit your wedding suit).

 

Alongside working here at the college will also works in various national theatres including Nottingham Playhouse, Leicester’s Curve theatre and Clwydd theatre Cymru. He is also a freelance technician and tours the Midlands and north England with small scale theatre projects. As well as this he is a freelance event technician and works on events such as Nottingham’s Splendour festival, Nottingham Riverside festival, Glowworm festival and numerous other events around the Midlands.

 

Will has been known to be grumpy and sarcastic, but don’t let that put you off he is really quite a friendly and approachable staff member.
